Multiculturalism

Multiculturalism is always experimental, and dangerously so, its theorized feasibility flying in the face of the historical record which informs us that intercultural conflict, if not war, is a timeless and universal rule in the human condition; a rule expressing the deep-seated desire of man, in his deepest convictions, to preserve the land, culture, principles, and heritage constituting his greatest inheritance from his beloved forefathers.

To the extent that multiculturalism can be made to “work”, or so long as such a society can survive, it is by avoiding or ignoring the brewing conflict or through the majority’s yielding or accommodating spirit and the erosion or sacrifice of their prior traditions.

Chiefly, however, it is through the apparatus of the state (the chief benefactor of multiculturalism and the chief beneficiary from the division which it predictably causes) that we have witnessed the enforcement and defense of multiculturalism, and it is through this mechanism that America and traditional American culture will continue to be gutted, hollowed out, condemned, or cast aside in favor of outsiders and foreign cultures, however incompatible and however threatening to the traditions that define America and American culture.
