A July 4, 2026, headline from the BBC reads as follows: “Pope urges Europe to do more for migrants as he visits gateway island”.

This is yet another case of the pope aiding the Marxist political agenda — another example of the “pro-migrant” policy which is central to the stated mission of the Catholic Church. See some other examples, since 2020 alone:

In 2022, Pope Francis addressed the International Catholic Migration Commission and reaffirmed that caring for migrants and refugees should remain a central mission of the Church. He encouraged Catholic organizations to continue assisting migrants while emphasizing respect for their “human rights and dignity”.

In 2023, Pope Francis sent a message to Italy's Migration Festival urging both Church leaders and politicians to create more "safe and legal" pathways for migration. He argued that migration policy should focus first on the individual person rather than primarily on border enforcement or deterrence.

In August 2024, during a general audience, Pope Francis criticized increasingly restrictive immigration laws, border militarization, and policies of migrant rejection. He instead called for expanded legal migration routes, broader refugee protection, and international cooperation to manage migration.

In February 2025, Pope Francis wrote to the U.S. Catholic bishops praising their advocacy on behalf of migrants and refugees amid debates over U.S. immigration enforcement. He encouraged them to continue opposing narratives that criminalize migrants and defended their efforts to protect migrants' rights and dignity.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has consistently supported increased refugee admissions, legal pathways for migrants, protections for asylum seekers, and comprehensive immigration reform. Through its migration ministries and affiliated Catholic agencies, the conference has also continued to participate in refugee resettlement and immigrant assistance programs throughout this period.

It is in this way, among others, that the administration within the Catholic Church is an enemy to American culture and Western civilization.
